This young guitarist, daughter of musician Andrew Venson, has been compared to Gary Clark Jr. for her guitar playing style, with Joss Stone and Amy Winehouse for her voice, and she undoubtedly drinks from disparate influences like Buddy Guy or Alicia Keys.
Obsessed with music from a young age, singer-songwriter Jackie Venson immersed herself in studies at Berklee College of Music to learn classical piano, composition, and music production. But the bad experience with the ultra-competitive method of the school made her almost ready to quit, until she saw how a classmate had fun with the guitar and decided to change her instrument, and her dream of offer emotional performances was finally fulfilled. Abandoning the conservative world of classical music for the raw power of blues and soul, Venson has been tirelessly honing her skills in a heady amalgam of blues, rock, rhythm and blues, and soul with deeply heartfelt lyrics.
In a very short time she has already released 3 studio albums, 1 live album, and 3 EP’s, in addition to the studio live shows she performs with loopers for her social networks. Without a doubt we are facing the renewal of the most classic blues and soul.
